PROGRAM DETAILS
During the three-day program, OPEN DOORS Workshop Participants will receive technique, improvisation, & repertory classes, as well as panel discussions with our Faculty of Directors.  All participants ages 17 & up as of Jan 1, 2023 will be considered for scholarships and/or acceptances to distinguished training and professional programs offered through our partners.

ancers age 16, can participate in dedicated technique, improvisation, & repertory classes, as well as a panel discussion with our Faculty of Directors. This experience is focused on mentorship and gaining a deeper understanding of what a career in the arts may offer.

​The 2023 Faculty of Directors includes Johnathan E Alsberry, Peter Chu, Jenni Gordan, Gilbert T Small II, Alexandra Wells.​
OPEN DOORS
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE​
The OPEN DOORS Performance Experience, a celebratory conclusion to the three days, will showcase curated groups of dancers performing previously created work. Any group of dancers may choose to come together and submit work between 6 and 8 minutes in length. All dancers in each group must be at least age 16 as of Jan 1, 2023.  Choreographers must be age 17 or older as of Jan 1, 2023. Please note that performing dancers/choreographers under age 18 must participate in the OPEN DOORS Workshop if selected for the Performance Experience.
